April 26th: Ultrasound Day

As prescribed we went to our appointment to follow up on my weird issues and to get an ultrasound on the Lima Bean. This is what we know.

IT'S A BABY!
We ARE NOT finding out what it is. Sorry everyone but we think this is so much cooler!

Our little Lima Bean is developing perfectly without any issues and is totally on track. It is 1 pound 2 ounces and between 6-8 inches long. The tech said that it is hard to measure the length because of how much it was moving and the little stinker was bending it's knees. As you can see below, it has the cutest button nose. The baby would kick me and I could feel it and see it on the screen. Steven thought that was hilarious (so did I). Our baby is a super active little thing. It did chill out enough to get some beautiful profile shots. We saw it suck it's thumb too!

We love it so much.

Now that you have seen the cute awesome happy pictures here is my update. I am going to have to have a Neurology consult because of my weird issues and migraines. We want to rule out any TIA's. The doc feels that it's just a good precaution and not necessarily the reason for the migraines. He did give me some migraine meds to use and see if they work. I have taken one and so far so good. Lets hope that is all I needed. He is a great doc and just wants to make sure it's not anything serious. I can go back to work but he would prefer that I only do half shifts until my next appointment at least. I see him again in 2 weeks. I'm glad I like him or I might get sick of him. Just kidding. He's a great guy and every time we talk to him we both feel much better.

That is all we know at this point. I will keep you all updated. At least our Lima Bean is okay. Now we just get to figure out what is wrong with me.

  3. I'm just glad it's not the baby. I think it will be easier to fix my issues than an unborn baby's issues. We are both just glad everything is okay at the moment. Hopefully it's migraines only and nothing more.
